Michael Fauci, Fauci Racing's first driver holds many different roles within the team. Initially beginning his racing career as a driver 16 years in a go-kart, he then moved into a new role and became crew chief for a WHALEN NASCAR Modified team for two years before stepping into the Micro Sprint world.

Since 2014, Michael has been a 600cc Micro Sprint driver, crew chief, and car owner. Also, after taking a position at Hyper Racing in Lewisberry, Pennsylvania in 2016, Michael would become their main chassis welder. His knowledge continues to evolve. From injection to chassis adjustments and tire selection the limits are ever-changing and continue to grow with the sport.

As a driver, he has turned over a million laps and collected hundreds of wins, national wins, and national pole awards since racing at the age of four. As a crew chief and car owner for his initial year, he holds two wins and dozens of top 5's. As the attention shifts from being in the seat, to coaching and teaching, Michael's passion and expectation have not wavered

"Being able to coach and give drivers an opportunity to run on the best of the best equipment on 600's best racing circuit here in the central Pennsylvania area is an opportunity I wish I had presented to me years ago. It gives me a platform to give back to a sport that has brought me so much over the years while still staying involved and making an impact."

Stepping back into the seat isn't completely put to rest yet, but 26 year old Fauci says his semi-retirement from driving just isn't a priority right now. As he shifts his focus on the two cars and drivers he now fields every race day.
