Buddy Schweibinz begins his rookie season in the 35m 600 Sprint car this 2019 season.
He began racing .125 Midgets at age 10, where he finished 4th in points his rookie year. The following year he would take home 2nd in overall points. In 2013, Buddy captured two class championships at Sandstone Speedway in Camden New Jersey.
In 2017 the young driver moved into racing 250cc Micro Sprints at Airport Speedway in New Castle County, Delaware. Schweibinz refused to finish outside of the top 10 all season long and would end up finishing 4th in overall points at the 1/8 mile dirt oval.
Buddy's rookie year in 270cc Micro Sprints would be this season. His first race, he took home a top 5 finish at the popular Poker Series race with no prior seat time in a 270cc at Bridgeport Speedway's 1/4 mile track.
Mike Fauci owner of Schweibinz's 35m shares the same ambition for 2019. "I am ready to see what Buddy can do in a 600. With his fast learning skills in a 270 and ambitious driving talent, I'm curious to see how fast he can pick up the speed both winged and wingless." Fauci states. It's no secret that Schweibinz will be up against 600's most competitive tracks and drivers. It is also no secret that PA builds some of the most competitive dirt track racers in the country. The investment put into this season will set a foundation that will be built using all that central Pennsylvania has to offer with tracks, fellow veteran competitors as well as top of the line equipment.
