Bruno Teams up with Fauci Racing

York, PA - Fourteen year old Christian Bruno will be joining forces with the Fauci Racing team for select 2018 shows.

Bruno joins the Fauci Racing team with an impressive first season racing both winged and wingless in the 600cc class. A stand-out driver in Peru, Indiana's 600cc Non-Wing World Championship, being awarded the Hard Charger award, over 100 registered competitors. While also racing across the greater central Pennsylvania area, Indiana and New York, has given the young driver valuable momentum and a foundation worth building off of.

Bruno comes to 600's off of a 2017 USAC Quarter Midget championship, and has transitioned from pavement to dirt. Something all of Fauci Racing's drivers have challenged themselves on and continue to find and compare the similarities in as well as the major differences.

Car owner Mike Fauci is excited to hit the track with Bruno for the first time this weekend at Spirit Auto Center Speedway's Skyscraper $4,000 to win event in Swedesboro, New Jersey. "I can confidently say that Bruno will be a great addition to our team. We have no hesitations in him upholding the expectations we ask of, of everyone on our team, and look forward to growing together as a team." Fauci states.

This will be Christian's first time at Spirit Auto Center Speedway, but not his first time on a 1/4 mile track. Bruno has a few hundred laps under his belt already this season on PA's most competitive 1/4 miles.

Bruno will be running 1/5 mile Greenwood Valley Action track on October 13 & 14, as well as the December 14 East Coast Indoor Dirt Nationals in Trenton, New Jersey, with other shows TBD. The rookie 600 driver will be teammates with second year Fauci racing driver, Andrew Layser, as they both take on this weekends big show. Layser with two Spirit Auto Center Speedway shows under his belt already will be a resource to Bruno as they both prepare for Sundays race, as well as the remaining season. You can expect 600cc racings best to be in attendance to the Skyscraper event over the next three days.

Though the competition will be strong, you can bet the Fauci Racing team to be ready for whatever the weekend brings.

Mike Fauci will have both 2018 Hyper X7 chassis fueled with Hyper EVO injection systems ready for both Layser and Bruno's run. This will be Bruno's first time in a Hyper after racing the beginning of his season in a D1 chassis. The similarities and differences on a track not too familiar will test the young drivers adaptiveness while also developing new driving techniques. With Fridays practice set to run from 8:00-10:30 PM with 2 fastest times locking in to Sunday's A-Main, the set seat time will be both valuable and educational stepping into the weekend.
